oh eight alum

one thing the universities do not tell students is how hard it is to graduate and transition into the "real world." transitional stages are never fun for a reason. they involve change.
a poem to fit the mood:

For eighteen years

Label – Student

This includes:
a. Pride
b. Respect
c. Purpose
d. Identity

Occupation – Bookworm

Skills required:
a. Studying
b. Reading
c. Memorizing
d. Regurgitating

For seventy-six days

Label – Unknown

Feelings of:
a. Defeat
b. Isolation
c. Dejection
d. Worry

Occupation – Any

Job entails:
a. Inexperience
b. Routine
c. Insignificance
d. Disappointment

All is dull
Monotonous
Unending

i would like to get back to a routine, something familiar.
